Having revised botf of the sources, both the passege and the lecture discuss that employees work four-day a week. While the reading passage mainly focused about its avantages, the listening passage gives its dezavantages.
First the passage says that it could rise the componies incoming as employees could take some rest and alert, as a result of this companies could get more job and money. The listening passage, however, says that this idea could force companies spend more money because of taking more employees. They should spend more for education. And also the necesiaty of office and computer would be increased.
Second, unlike the reading passage, the listening passage says that hiring morestaff would be costly. The expectation would be so high and the job which should be done by five days would work four days thanks to this employees would be more tired. The lecture, on the other hand, does not take this view of 80 percent of rate will decrease.
Finally the listening passage says that employees would have more time which could cause some risk that quality of life could be decreased. Their career could be in danger and the reason of economy they could loose their job. The passage, however, feels that the idea could be better for individual employees. Employees could spend more time for their families or they could find new activities such as sport.
