TPO-19 - Integrated Writing Task Many consumers ignore commercial advertisements. In response, advertising companies have started using a new tactic, called “buzzing." The advertisers hire people, buzzers, who personally promote (buzz) products to people

The reading and lecture discuss buzzing from different perspectives. The reading complains that the buzzing brings a lot of controversy. However, the lecture casts doubt on the claims made in the article. The lecture says that he has a part time job as a buzzer and all the reasons that the reading has mentioned are misleading. None of those are true.
First of all, the author of the reading points out that the buzzers do not tell the truth to their customers. This point is challenged by the lecture. He restates the fact that he get pay from the company who hire him and he always tells the truth about products.
Secondly, the author of the reading contends that because the buzzers pretend they are just private people, customers may not dare to ask them any question about the products. The lecture rebuts this idea with the fact that since he is a buzzer, people ask him a lot of questions, such as price, service, and the date of using products. If he did not answer them, they would not buy the products.
Finally, the author of the reading states that buzzing has social relationships, therefore, people will not trust them. The lecture, on the other hand, opposes this point that if products are bad company owners do not hire the buzzers. He puts forth the idea that since people buy goods via buzzers they feel more confident and recommend to other people around them
