Many employees want to work four days a week and are willing less salary. They believe by this offer employees can fell more rest, and as a result, they would make less costly errors also this this the unemployment rate will decrease, in addition they can spend more time with their family which cast doubt by the lecture and I will explore it in my following essay.
Firstly, the reading suggests that this offer employee can feel more comfortable, so they will make fewer costly errors, but the lecture adds that the company should spend more money to hire new workers and train them, also the office space should extend and more computers needed, in the result the lecture prove the errors.
Secondly, the article says that by this offers the unemployment rate will decrease, in contrast the lecture says that hiring new workers will be costly. The company expectation will increase and they need from their workers to do a five-day job in four days, so this was not correct.
Thirdly, employees want less salary and they want to spend more time with family, but the lecture talks that they will lose the advance career or lose the job, also the will not promote.
As a result, the offers from reading was cast doubt by the lecture with the above reasons.
