It is more important to keep your old friends than to make new friends

In today's hectic life no one can turn a blind eye on the significance of friendship and social relations. Controversy exists over whether keeping old friends is more important than making new friends or not. From my point of view, making new friends would be preferred for some reasons, reasons include our ever-going need to refresh our life through creating new opportunities in our ambient.

First and foremost, the idea of social growth plays almost the key role. Our life always demarcate by social interactions. To put it into more detail, no one can neglect the power of sociability and networking abilities thorough the success of a person. As the larger engaging groups a person deal with, the more chance to absorb ideas, concepts or information from different opportunities would have. Businesses today lift on the foundation of networks and friends, even shallow friendships can benefit much. Therefore, we should not overlook to new friends or new people because they do not fit us.

The second point that should be mentioned is old friends confidentiality. Old friends know lot about our past life. This can threaten our new opportunities while we know a person close to us can reveal some of our bygone errors. Old friends are mostly broken as one side prefers to keep his secrets more secure. For example, a person who knows my austerity in youth period but today sees my affluence may violate my reputation in front of my business partners by stating my previous hard conditions. Thus, keeping old friends sometimes equals to keeping our past mistakes and errors alive with us. From this point of view some people include I prefer to relinquish old friendships.

As a result, we can be in touch with our old friends, but always we should be cautious and concerned about our past and the details of our promotions. Whereas the benefits of hanging with new friends as new players in our life adventure would worth to develop them.
