The maps illustrate the major changes, which have taken place in the town of Denham between 1986 to present moment.
Overall, the city showed considerable progress in housing developments, which indicates the increase in population and a move away from farming and agriculture.
One change that stands out is that the farmland area adjacent to river stoke has been replaced by housing. In 1986, there were two shops near post office, which have been demolished and new houses have been built there. In addition to these changes, the garden in the south-eastern area of the city has been destroyed for making new houses and the large house near the garden has been converted to retirement home and new houses has also been built there for accommodation of aged people.
The post office located in the western region next to road has been kept unchanged and the primary school opposite of the post office also remained in the original place. In addition, the bridge on the river stoke also remained at original place.
Another noticeable change also observed that several new roads have been built in the city for easy traffic passing.
