TPO-03 - Integrated Writing Task Rembrandt is the most famous of the seventeenth-century Dutch painters. However, there are doubts whether some paintings attributed to Rembrandt were actually painted by him.

The article states that one painting of women's face which is known to attribute the famous painter Rembrandt could not be worked by him and provides three reasons for support. However, the professor of the lecture explains that the original painting is done by Rembrandt and refutes each of the author's reasons.

First, the reading claims that there is something problems with the dressing of the women are painting. The professor refutes this point by stating that after analyzing the painting, the painting is adulterated by some persons to increase its values. They did some overprinting after 100 years of the original print. That's why it looks more luminous and makes a false impression.

Second, the article posits that the combination of light and shadow was not like to Rembrandt because he was the master of this. However, the lecture contends that the light and shadow might not look like as Rembrandt because it's not the original printing of him. In the original painting, the color was simple and less light reflected in the face. So, main printing was like the style of Rembrandt.

Finally, the reading avers that the painting was painted on several pieces of wood which are contradicted with Rembrandt works. The lecture opposes this point by saying this woods also glued by some others to make a copy of the painting. The main painting was painted on a single wood which is much like to Rembrandt works. So, after investing and analyzing the painting, it can be implied that the original painting was done by the great painter Rembrandt.
