In the reading section, the writer contends that there are several solutions that responsible businesses can use to prevent injuries to birds; however, in the lecture, the professor completely refutes all the reading points by presenting several reasons and examples.

First of all, the writer claims that one-way glass in which birds cannot see through are good enough for discouraging birds to fly through them; on the other hand, the professor take issue with this notion and explains that these windows would be considered as mirrors for birds; The professor states that inasmuch as birds cannot understand mirrors they consider them as part of the nature and continue fly through them; hence, the problem would not be solved, as professor believes.

Moreover, the writer also manifests that colorful windows with an openings is another possible solutions; in contrast, the lecture again rejects this statement and explains that if the opening would be so big, the birds would consider them as a space in which they are able fly through; in contrast, should the space would be so small, people inside the building would have difficulties since inside the building would be dark.

In addition, the writer also states that creating an artificial magnetic field would be another possible solution; on the contrary, the professor again rejects this belief by stating that birds use magnetic field when traveling very far distances, but for short trips they do not use this method instead they use their eyes and visions' abilities.
