The given bar chart illustrates how the percentage of Australian male and female who did activity regularly varied between the age 15 to 65 and over in 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the average figure was approximately 47 in all groups. Also, the biggest figure in male group was 15 to 24 at 52.8. On the other hand, the number of 25 to 34, 35 to 44 were lower than others relatively and it began to increase from the age 45. The lowest figure was 35 to 44 at 39.5 in male group.
Meanwhile, the case of female was different, compared with male group. Generally, the percentage of middle age accounted for the top number. Firstly, the top figure in female group was 45 to 54 at 53.3. In contrast, 65 and over of age group have taken the lowest figure at 47.1
In conclusion, in female group, middle age women did physical activity frequently. While, young people did activity often in the male group.
