The pie charts illustrate the opinions of the students on the range of books and the non-printed materials in the university library based on a questionnaire.
It is evident that a considerable number of postgraduates choose “not good” for the range of books. Whereas, for non-printed materials such as computer software or online journals over half of the undergraduates rated it as “very good” and nearly half of the postgrads found it as “satisfactory.”
In the chart for variety of books at the library, one third of the undergraduates were not happy and marked it as “not good” compared to a startling 65% by the postgraduate. Further, only a small fraction of postgrads around 15% responded as “very good” for collections in comparison to 39% of the undergraduates. Overall, below 30% of the students in both categories rating the selection as “satisfactory”.
With regards to the non printed materials at the library, over half the undergraduates’ responses reveal it as “very good” compared to the postgraduate’s response at 27%. While the “satisfactory” rating topped the responses by the postgrad students, but undergraduates was at 33%. The percentage of student responses for “not good” as selection for computer software or online journals was lowest for both student sets.
