The charts below show the highest educational degree earned by King City residents, and the average household size in King City from 1950 - 2000.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two charts shown provides us with different set of infomation for the people living in King City from 1950 till 2000. The first graph shows the certain percentage of people and their highest education degrees and the second one shows us the average household size in the city.

Overall, in the first graph, there are fluctuating trends recorded for each of the four highest education degrees, some of which are either decreasing or increasing or both for the given time period. But, in second graph, the average household size has only gone downwards for the 50 year period.

In the first graph, the percentage of people with college degree and post graduate degree has increased each year from 1950 till 1990. In 1990, the percentage of college graduates peaked at 65 pecent and has slightly gone down till 2000. While it has happened, the percentage of post-graduates in King City has continued to increase till 2000.

Also, the percentage of people with either no high-school degree or high school degree has only decrease ever since 1950. The percentage of people shown in both categories were at their peak in 1950, and has continued on the downward trend ever since till they reached their nadir in 2000.

By extrapolating the information from both graphs, it can be inferred that the decrease in percentage of high-school or non high-school can be directly attributed to the decreasing average household size.
