The pie chart illustrates, how much money spend on average family for the restaurant food in percentage wise four different years. While, the line graph demonstrates, the ratio of outside meals and homemade foods from 1970 to 2000.

Overall, food budget on restaurant meals increase and home cooking decrease over the years and distributed equally at the end of period. Meanwhile, the average number of fast food meals has a dramatic growth in comparison with sit down restaurant meals.

As is observed in the pie chart, the percentage of home cooking was significantly high in 1970 with 90%. Whereas, after 10 years food budget on restaurant food contributed to 15% and reached to 35% by 1990. However, the amount of money spent on restaurant food and home cooking made of half percentage in total budget at the end of the period.

Regarding fast food and hotel food begun at 20 meals per year in 1970, whereas, later 10 years restaurant meals climbed to 35 meals per year which is 10 times higher than fast food. While, in the following years, the growth of fast food has considerably higher than sit down restaurant with 55 meals per year in 1980. In comparison, the number of people who went on restaurant was slightly increase to 45 and climbed to 50 at the end of the period. whilst, in junk food eaters ratio was rapidly increased 55 and surged to 90 by 2000.
