The charts compare the standard weight of residents in Charlestown in the year 1995 and 2015.
Overall, people in 1995 had an appropriate propotion of ideal weight in most age group and many people were underweight while older people tend to have worse health in terms of weight in 2015.
Most young people in Charlestown between 20 – 29 years old were the ideal group in 2015 and 2019, but there were some people who had underweight. At 30 – 39, 40 – 49 and 50 - 59 year-old-age group, there was a mix body weight which underweight were about 25% in 1955. Interestingly, in 2015, the average weight of people increased significantly, the number of overweight and obese were about 50%. Furthermore, 60 – 69 group had a big proportion of the underweight group in 1995, which increases from younger almost 2 times.
