The diagram illustrates various stages involved in manufacturing ceramic pots. Overall, there are about 10 steps and no advanced machines seem to be required in this process.
At the first phrase, raw materials are excavated from the ground and are freighted by trucks to the factory where they are then crushed in a grinder.
After being ground into tiny debris, the materials are then mixed with water and poured directly into moulds through a pipe located at the lower part of the mixer. Next, it takes around 4 to 6 hours for the mixture to dry and form a shape of a pot. These assembled clay pots are taken from the moulds and heated in an oven under 1000 degrees celsius, which are then dipped into colour buckets by craftsmen. The process finishes by putting the coloured clay pots in the oven under fire for an adequate amount of time and then take them out to cool down.
