The graph illustrates how the Tourist Information Office received inquiries in the first haft of 2011.
Overall, there were much more inquiries demanded directly or through phone calls as the figures for these both ways exhibited positive growth while asking for information via letter saw a decline.
The number of inquiries made in person started at just above 400 in January. However, in the first quarter, it experienced a swell to 1000, marking the moment when demanding inquiries directly started becoming the most popular. By the end of the given period, the office got roughly 1900 inquiries in person.
The figure for telephone inquiries dropped by 100, hitting a trough at 800 in February before rebounding to 1000 in March. After one month of stability, it accelerated to 1600 within the second quarter of 2011.
The number of inquiry letters fell slightly from shy of 800 to around 700 in the first two months. Following this, there was a sharp downward trend from March to May before the figure held steady at just below 400 in the last month.
