The graph illustrates the changes of population in the state of Oregon in three counties from 1940 to 2000.

Overall, although the number of people in county Washington strongly growth, while number of population in the county Columbia and Yamhill have minor changes in contrast with Washington.

At the beginning of this period the population in the Washington equals 75 thousand. Then it is observed the remarkable increasing until 1970, when number of people reaches over 120 thousand. After this, the amount of people sharply achieves meaning over 240 thousand during thirty years until 2010.

However, the number of people in Columbia and Yamhill growths steadily during the all period of time. At the beginning the population in the Columbia is about 20 thousand and in the Yamhill equals 30 thousand people. During thirty years until 1970 the meaning of green line changes for about 10 thousand and blue line changes on 15 thousand and reaches 45 thousand. Then the population of Yamhill considerably achieves 90 thousand until 2010 and number of people in Columbia has over 75 thousand in 2010. So, population in these counts increases almost on equal number.
