In today's rapidly changing globalized world, it is often a pressing topic of discussion that our lives was better when technology were simpler. From last couple of decades because of modernization and industrialization of the world, technology has become one of the important part of our lives. Further in this essay will discuss whether these invention of new technologies has made our life simpler or not.
Firstly, it is fair to say that technology has made our life simpler in many ways. We can connect through internet to our friends or relatives at any time, whether they are in any part of the world. For instance, if I am sitting in Singapore and my parents are in US, I can talk or see them any time through whatsapp video calling, Facebook messenger, zoom, facetime. However before the invention of internet it was very hard to get connected. People used to spend a lot of money on phone calls. In addition to above, invention of mobile phones has made our work very handy. While sitting in car, park, malls etc. you can connect to your office/ colleague. Moreover, students can attend online classes from home, numerous of employees can do work from home.
On the other hand, detrimental of effects are there if you use these technologies for unlimited time. At very young age due to using of mobile and laptops juveniles and toddlers are facing many health issues. For instance, it is effecting speech of small kids, myriad of young people are suffering from backbone issues as they stopped moving. Therefore I firmly believe that advancement and invention of new technology have made our life better and simpler, however it is every individuals responsibility to use it in a limited way.
