Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Behnaz Yousefi. I live in Greet Street on 12 block located opposite of the park, next to the post office. I am writing to you regarding the horrible news which I heard from one of my neighbors, Mr. Smith, the other day. He told me all about the local council decision to construct a block of flats in the park location. I am deeply disappointed with this change in my neighborhood and hoping to alter your resolve about the plan.
The park is a place where lots of people go there to unwind, exercise, and simply have fun. In the morning, it is crowded with those who want to start their working day with a little run and fresh air. In the afternoon, the sound of children laughs can be heard from far away. Finally, in the evening, it is filled with families spending some quality time together. It is a shame to put an end to all these activities and happiness. Besides, there are enough building in this street and adding more dwellers to the population is going to take toll on the livelihood of the neighborhood.
We are responsible for preserving our environment not only for our sake but for the ones who are going to come after us. People should not allow such plan to be carried on without any protests. Hence, some of the locals have decided to organize a protest in the park to raise awareness about the situation and gain more followers to prevent the execution of the plan.
