Dear Counselor,
My name is Saritha Pillai, and I am a resident of JC Nagar.I write this letter to bring to your attention about the discomfort caused by water-logged on road outside my house which is leading to severe inconvenience, and could cause health hazard.
Recently, the area where I live has witnessed heavy rain because of which the place is suffering from clogged water and potholes. In such conditions, it becomes extremely difficult for us to step outside the house. Moreover, lack of proper drainage system causes the waste to float on roadway. These wasteful materials causes pungent odour and is a compromise to health hygiene. In addition, we do not have street lights because of which visibility of holes on road is zero during night time. As a consequence, this could put a person's life at stake.
Therefore, I would request you to re-construct the road, and to put-up the light poles at the residential path for our safety. Also, it will be great if the your team could work on improving the sewage system so that water accumulation on street could be prevented. Please contact me on +91-92453-23234 for further details.
