Essay topics:

You and your family have just come back from a holiday staying in a rented apartment overlooking the sea. The apartment was very unsatisfactory. Write a letter of complaint to the manager of the agency from which you rented the apartment.
I your letter:
- give details of the things that were unsatisfactory
- explain the reactions of the members of your family
- ask the manager what he/she is going to do about the situation

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the apartment that I have rented recently.

I rented an apartment for your agency last month. Unfortunately, I was not a well-equipped apartment despite your recommendation. As you know, the weather is so scorching in this season and air conditioner is one of the most significant requirments; but when we have arrived in that place, we found the air conditioner did not work. We were suffering from that situation especially my three year old son. As well as this, after having a long journey, my husband wanted to take a shower, but water was not cold enough and it caused him to become irritated. As a consequence, we left apartment very soon as we failed to have memorable holiday. I am entitled to request that you could possibly check your apartment's facilities as soon as possible and refund my money for that inconvenience situation.

I would deeply appreciate if you could give me a prompt reply at the earliest convenience.

Yours faithfully,

Hamed Karimi
