You are attending a training program in a foreign country. Write to your manager and say that you want to stay longer in that country for personal reasons. Include the following in your letter:
– How did you benefit from the training program?
– Why do you want to stay longer?
– When are you planning to come back?

Dear Mr. Smith,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to request an extension for my current leave in Paris in order to visit some historic places and museums.

Initially, the training course was immensely beneficial. Since the instructor is experienced and has magnificent illustration abilities, we gained substantial amounts of knowledge and cognition in the field of software security. Furthermore, the provided material clarifies all the main points mentioning every detail, so, if the employees forget a specific part from the given course, they will find it easily by doing a quick search through these notebooks.

Actually, the weather here is fascinating and the country is vastly picturesque due to the existence of mountains and landscapes everywhere. So, I wonder if you can permit an extension in the favor of visiting some historic places and enjoy the awesome climate.

Finally, because of the due date of the current project, I would not spend more than a week here so as to return by the 15th of July. In addition, I can work remotely for 4 hours daily to complete as many tasks as I could, to reduce the pressure on my colleagues.

Thanks a lot for your consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Mark Ryan
