Dear Mr. Wright,
I am a student of Cambridge college, studying project management, a short course of 8 months which allows students to learn advanced skills related to various domains and writing this letter to request you to change this course to a similar program related to logistics.
Initially, while enrolling for this course, I thought it would help me in learning new practical skills related to my area of work, which is transportation and supply chain, but I found that most of the subjects are theoretical and lack practical applications for the implementation of the projects. Also, there are only two out of ten subjects that are related to logistics, and I believe it would not help me in my job duties.
For these reasons, I want to apply for an advanced diploma course in supply chain management, which is the right course to study, keeping my professional experience in mind. The subjects in this course will provide me the exposure to real-life problems related to public transport, packaging, and process improvements. As these skills are essential for the role which I am currently holding in my present job, it would also add a greater value to my work for future projects.
I hope you would consider my request and help me in changing this course.
