You have recently started work in a new company.

• explain why you changed jobs

• describe your new job

• tell him/her your other news

Write at least 150 words.

Dear Sarah,

Hope you are doing well. I am really very excited to share the news that I have switched my job and have started working as a Business Analyst in a multinational firm.

As I mentioned in my earlier letter, I was in great stress at my previous employer because of the late sittings and project deadlines which had a serious effect on my health. I had started having constant back pain due to working on laptop for longer duration. In addition to this, I wasn’t being compensated for the overtime as it wasn't the company's policy.

My new job role is quite interesting as I had to review and analyze the complete business process and suggest improvements aiming to minimize the cost without degrading product quality . Graphs and statistics have always been my core competency and I am looking forward to gain experience and utilize my knowledge to the best of my ability.

Furthermore, I wanted to invite you to my new apartment which I recently bought from my savings. We will celebrate it together as you were one of those friends that have been of great support when I migrated to this country. I'll be waiting for you on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 6:30 pm.

See you soon

Yours Sincerely,

Shazia Iqbal
