You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Dear Jennifer,

I hope you are doing well. I came across to know that your performance in GCSE was incredible. Many congratulations! Although, you have achieved the higher score; however, I would suggest you to search for a job rather than continuing your education without any break.

Firstly, in this highly competitive environment, people should plan their career goals cautiously. It is my humble request to start searching for a job. Nowadays, the employers are looking for young multi-skilled workers. They prefer the candidates whose not only academics are better, but also have valuable social skills. Moreover, I believe that it is the best time to nourish your skills so that you become more assertive and gain recognition in the world.
Another benefit that I can foresee is that it would offer you to think rationally about your interests. Thus, you may easily differentiate the pathway that you would follow for the higher education.
I hope my advice would be an asset on your CV. you must think rationally before you make a decision for your upcoming endeavours. If you need further help in this matter, I would be there. However, the choice would be yours at the end.

I wish you good luck!

Warm wishes,
