As you know, unfortunately I am right now on a business trip. Had I known your baby is going to be born one week early, I would not have volunteered for the mission. Anyway, no one could have predicted the exact time of birth. Hopefully, we can finalize the deal by tomorrow and our new customer will sign the contract by the end of the week. I am going to postpone all the sightseeing I had planned before and fly back home as soon as I am finished here. Hence, I will be home next week.
Since I will be back after the weekend, I was wondering whether it is okay if I come by your house after work. Babies are my soft spot and I want to see the tiny miracle of yours as soon as possible. Please let me know if Tuesday evening is convenient for you too.
