Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to inform you about my willingness to go on this trip.

My name is James Smith. I came to know about this short trip from my son Mathew. He specified that an educational trip is being organised by the school authorities on 30th of May to France, which will be for three days. I am very much interested to visit to this place as it is my dream country from childhood and I always wanted to be there.

I would like to mention that I have a sound experience as a tour-guide and I have read several books on its history, origin, customs and traditions. I believe it will be really beneficial for children in terms of academics. It would not only help them to get valuable information and knowledge of its origin but also assist them to get more exposure on the things such as languages, lifestyle and many more.

I have a few queries regarding this trip related to booking of tickets, overall expenses and accommodation. What belongings should students bring on this exciting excursion? I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful opportunity to go overseas.

Looking forward for your prompt response.

Yours faithfully,
James Smith
