Your neighbors have recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house flat. Write a letter to your neighbors.
In your letter,
explain the reasons for the noise
apologize
describe what action you will take
Dear Jyothi,
I am writing in response to the complaint received yesterday regarding the noise from my flat. My sincere apology for the problem caused due to my actions. Hope you accept my apology and I will be careful in the future.
I have started learning and practicing playing the piano for the past one week. As I am a working professional, I only get some
free time to dedicate to my classes during the weekends. Additionally, I have hired a piano teacher, who teaches me during the weekends.
However, I was not aware that it is causing you extreme disturbance but I am sorry for the noise reaching your flat.
I am apologetic for the trouble I caused you. Sadly, I did not anticipate the amount of loud sound that my piano practice would lead
to and it would reach your room as well. Hence I totally understand your point and would request you kindly accept my sorry for the distress you faced.
As a solution, I have decided that I will no longer have my piano sessions at my house. Moreover, I will request my teacher to
conduct classes at his house. In this way, I will avoid causing any annoyance to you from now onwards. Also, I will be able to continue with my passion for learning musical instruments.
Again, I regret the inconvenience caused to you.
Yours truly,
Dimple
