bees nest

Essay topics:

bees nest

The reading is about the reasons that cast doubt the structure which is found and resemble the bees nest and is 200-million year old, did not create by bees, but the lecturer has the opposite view about the fossil structure.
The first reason in the essay is, there is no fossil of actual bees has remained from the past 200-million year ago, the earliest fossil that ever found in the 100-million year ago. On the contrary, the speaker holds the opposite notion, she asserts that the bees fossil only preserved in especial kinds of trees resin which only specific kinds of tree secrete it; therefore, in that period the kinds of that trees were rare, but they became common later within the past 100-million year.
The second insight in the reading is, the bees only feed on flowering plants which were appeared 125 –million year ago so it is unlikely that bees could have existed before that time.in contrast, the professor believes that before the spearing of flowering plants the bees had developed some adaptations to fed on non-flowering plants which were proceeded to flowering ones.
The last hint in the reading is the structure which is found misses some details on its figure such as spiral patterns that are the segment of the new bee’s nests, although the lecturer has the other notion and says that there is some other chemical evidence that has a direct connection with bee’s nests. The material which is dedicated on the surface of the structure is water-proof and does not lead the water to come into the nest merely like the one in the modern bee’s nest.
