Formation of team for completing a project

The reading supports the idea of creating group for implementing a certain project and it provides few reasons of support. However, the professor contends that forming group for completing a project is not a good way and he refutes each of the reasons of the article.
First, the article argues that the group has wide variety of knowledge, expertise and skills to perform a certain project, which assists to complete the project within shortest possible time. The professor refutes this point by stating that the reading's claim is problematic and is not realistic. He claims that it takes long time to come consensus among the team members of the group, which results into delay of completing the project. Also he says that it takes time to meet the group members, which wastage of working hours.
Second, the passage claims that the group formation for performing a project helps to find out the creative solution. For instance, group can take risky decisions, which an individual can not take because every one of a group is accountable and this ends into creative solution of a problem. However, the professor contends this argument that there might be some influential group member, who might create pressure to implement his/her idea though the idea is not feasible. He also states that it might resulted into failure of a project.
Finally, the reading claims that this rewarding for all group members. However, the professor argues that there will be free rider in a group. He will get reward for the successful completion of project though s/he had not done anything for the project. Also the professor claims that this would create frustration to the real contributors and s/he would not get his/her actual reward.
