The article states that rare and important fossils are sold to private ownership for millions of dollars and this is not good for both scientists and the general public and provides three resons for support. However, the professor explains that benefit i smore than the disadvantage to the public and scientist and refute each of the author's reasons.

First, The public won't get chance to see fossils as they were sold to private collectors. The professor refutes these points. he says that even low level public can see fossils.

Second, the reading states that scientists won't get access to the most important fossils. The professor this is not realistic idea. He explains that scientist are the people who will identify the value of the fosssils by doing detail examination and doing test. Before it goes to private collector it has to pass from the scientist so they won't loss and important information regarding fossils.
