Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how the proposal discussed in the lecture would solve the specific challenges described in the reading passage.

The reading and lecture both are discussing the possibility of human presence on Venus. The reading states that it is impossible to find the human presence on the Venus because of the extreme and inhospitable condition of Venus and the author provides three reasons to prove the claim. The Lecturer casts doubt on every reason presented in the writing.

Firstly, the Professor states that the pressure of Venus's surface is not too high than that of the earth. He adds that no Spacecraft will be crushed by this pressure which clearly contradicts the Information said in the article. It is also mentioned in the reading that human will be also crushed in Venus. The lecture contradicts this possibility.

Secondly, the author of the reading contends that there is no water, oxygen or water vapor and there is carbon dioxide, sulfuric acid. He continues that water and oxygen need to be supplied to the planet from earth which is impractical. The lecturer refutes this claim and notes that a water and oxygen can be produced easily by using a chemical process. He also suggests that it can be done by using Venus's atmosphere.

Finally, according to the reading, very little sunlight can reach to the planet's surface as carbon dioxide below the thick clouds blocks the light. The lecturer, on the other hand, posits that the clouds are not thick and through these clouds, light can easily pass to the planet's surface. He puts forth the idea by providing information that sunlight can be used to generate power.

As we have seen, the claims made in the reading have been successfully refuted by the lecturer.
