The article states that zoos are essential to a modern life and provides three reasons of supports. However, the professor explains that activates in this field don’t believe the authors opinion and claim that it is not true. He refutes each of the authors reasons.

First the reading states that animals are treated well in zoos. The professor refutes this point by stating that zoos aren’t treated as pretty as we think. He gives an example of red pandas that found dead in zoo because they poisoned. He highlighted that no safety guard found there for prevented this disaster

Second the article claims that zoos are useful in educational purposes. However, the professor contends that they aren’t so useful in educational aspects. He says that in zoos only visitors attracted in watching animals and showing animals in artificial manner can’t have any educational massage. It just shows, that its ok to use animals for humans’ entertainment.

Third the reading averts that zoos protected endangered specious. The lecture opposes this point by saying that there is a problem with this claim. It states that although one successful example author brings, the success rate of zoos in this part are low and because of small number of animals they keep, animals have to sex with each other and this cause a birth problem.
