The first solution given by the author is to build national fence. they will prevent this species to spread in the rest part of country where they have not inhabeted yet. However the proffesor thinks that the rivetrs and floating waters will cary out toad's eggs. thus these fancies will be inefficient.
The second mothod of diminishing the quantity of this amphibias is human resourcies. volunteers can easly capture this animal by simple tools and kill them. Along with this toads' eggs are very easy to destroy which is also effective method to decriese their population. In contrast, the speaker thinks that volunteers are uncontrolled power and that process can cause other bad effects. For example they can catch other anphibias as well which are really important for caountry nature.
The final strategy of toad population control related to disease-cousing virus. The scolars are involved in research where they trying to develope visrus which will infect this species and have minimal effect on the other. The author thinks that it is good way to fight with this animals. Nonetheless the proffesor totally refutes this method because they can affect american frogs as well. it is known that these amphibias are being transfered by the animal lowers and it is higly probaple that trasfered one will infect the american population. thus this viruses are dengerous for american population as well.
In conclusion it is eviodent that there is contrudiction between the author and the speaker. The author lists several solutions and believe that they are efficient. On the other hand the professor have different opinion about these ideas and casd doubt on their success.
