TPO47

In this set of material, the article explains three main hypothesises to reject that ptrosaurs did not have powered wings to fly, while the lecture casts doubts on the information presented in the reading section and believes that these presented theories are not conviencing enough.

First off all, the reading passage makes the point that the pterosaurs were cold-blooded, so they could not have enough energy. In contrast, the condustor gives the impression that evidence of fossile record reveals pterosaurs are warm-blooded, thereby had enough energy to power fly. She cites the information involving evideince of dense cover of fur which proves that they were warm- blooded animals.

Second, the professor disagrees with the idea that the pterosurs were huge animals because their larg weight avoid them to fly, and implies that pterosaurs unlike their size had light weigh. Then, she highlights how they could be able to fly easily. She elaborated by saying that their body were full of holes instead of being solid. In fact, she believs that they had light weight rather than their size.

Finally, although the reading assers that they had not powerful rare legs whereas, other birds have the powerful rare leg to fly and jump, the speaker argues that pterosaurs took advantage of four legs to fly not only for flying, but also for running and walking. She makes it clrear and gives examples to illustrate this feature and describes how they walked or jummed. So, she elaborates that because pterosaurs pushed all of their four legs, there was enough energy to run fast and jump higher heigh.
