But In most well established companies it would be a better choice for the company to hire consultants as they may revitalize the company with a fresh influx of ideas and specialized expertize and also considering the fact that time is money in the corporate world. In most companies the employees have to play multiple roles, which range from mangerial to technical.This leaves them with little time for personal development let alone putting focused efforts for solving only one problem. Since his work is focused only on providing either a technical or managerial solution he would be able to dedicate the time and efforts to optimize the solution provided by him.
