The maps below show the layout of James Park in 2017 and the proposed changes to the park in 2027.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The layout of James park had undergone major changes within a decade.Various new facilities and roads have been constructed, as well as some of them had been renovated .
Firstly, the demolition of the fountain paved the way for the science center to undergo expansion, along with a new garden being attached adjacent to the institue. In 2017 the path did not directly lead to the center but in 2027 the road was extended to connect the center and the garden, hence individuals can either visit the center or can opt to go to the garden directly.
Secondly, the playground in 2017 was much bigger and divided into two parts serving it's purpose for both toddlers and adults. However, 2027 the addition of a new theatre has replaced the playground for toddlers. Moreover the main playground had become the only playground in the park and two seperate entrances/exits had been connected to it unlike the single entrance/exit in 2017 .Visitors can visit the playground via the old pathway or they could also visit it directly by following the new road connecting the statue and the playground.
Lastly a gymnasium had been added in 2027, which had been installed adjacent to the playground itself and its entrance being connected to the main road containing the statue which lies almost near the center of James Park
