Donating of about 9.7 billion dollars in 2001 and increasing by 0.8 billion in the next year, the United States of America’s endowment jumped almost double that of the initial year in 2009. Following this, the figure escalated to more than 22 billion in 2010.

Compared to the USA, the amount of money provided by the European nations and other countries was a small number. In 2006, both nations donated 3.3 billion and 2.7 billion, unlikely changing in the next following two-year. Then, the donation of European nations and other countries saw a small decreased in 2009.
