The provided table compares the forested land of different six countries, namely, Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America in the period of fifteen years. The unit of given data is millions of hectares.

On the whole, the proposition of forested land was descending in Africa , North America , Oceania and south America , however, there was ascending in Europe and Asia.

In Africa , the forested land was descending from 749 in 1990 to 691 in 2005. Similarly there steadily decline in Oceania and south America from 199 to 197 and 946 to 882 respectively. Moreover, the amount of forested land in North America was 708 in 1990 and it dropped slightly in 2000 (705), however, it was plateau until 2005.

In contrast, the forested land in Europe was 989 in 1990 and which increased gradually from 989 to 1001 over the period of 1.5 decades.furthermore , the forested land of Asia was 570 in 1990 , which was fall until 2000, although there was significant rise to reach at 584 in 2005.
