Dear Mr. Samson,

I am writing with regard to my recent experience at the Star hotel in London, which was mostly uninspiring and exclusive service for the booking of which was obtained from you.

To begin with, the hotel manager didn’t have the details of my booking arrangements on his records in the online system. after, showing the copy of my booking which I received from you, they offered to provide a double room as an alternative. Although, I had to stay out late, I still missed the opportunity to spend quality time in a more relaxed environment during mornings and evenings, which the suite, as per the original plans, would have provided.

I didn’t find my stay enjoyable because of the changed arrangements. Moreover, after complaining about the noise I was subjected to from their electric generator plant, I was asked to shift to another room on the second day, which meant I had to climb stairs all the way to the fifth floor. With lift out of operation, it was extremely time-consuming and tiring.

I would therefore, request for a justification on what probably could have caused such a confusion and would like to know if there could be a compensation of any sort for the inconveniences

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely,
Sam
