Essay topics:

You are part of a group of musicians who meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings to practise in the community hall.
You have been told, however, that it is no longer possible for the group to use the hall.
Write a letter to the manager. In the letter:
• describe what the group does
• explain why the group is good for the community
• suggest alternative days and times for practice

Dear Mr John,
This is in connection to the usage of the community hall for our music practice. We have recently been told that the hall will not be available for preparation. We are working on a project which is about to get live in the next month. We all live in the nearby society and were told by the secretary of the society that the community hall will be available for our practice twice in a week.
Our group is preparing for a show which will happen next month for the community service of the police at a state level. We usually perform in all the community services events and the money we generate from the show, the fifty percent of it is being donated to the NGO. We have tied up with many NGO’s for the assistance of their wellbeing. This initiate of ours is helping the youth of our society to participate more and more and help the society.
We would also like to request if we can be provided with any other alternate days except Tuesday and Friday for practicing our show. Look forward your support.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully
Megha Gupta
