Dear Sir,
I am writing to see if I could ask you a favor of getting five days off from work. Please allow me to elaborate on my situation in more detail.
I am asking this favor because my mother is seriously ill; I have to take her to the hospital for a complete checkup. Our general physician advice that she has a cardiovascular ailment that needs to be assessed at the earliest. Therefore, a range of tests will be performed for diagnostic purposes.
Her appointment is due on Monday; about seven tests are advised by her cardiologist on consequent days. I request you to grant leave for five days that is from 23rd to 27th August so that I could take her to hospital as there is no one to look after her because my siblings are living abroad.
I understand it will create a lot of trouble for you to manage in my absence. Rest assured that I shall be kept in touch with you through email and will attend all calls from the customers.
