Dear Sir,
I am writing to resign from my job as a sales manager, effective December 31, 2021.
The main reason, I am leaving this job is that I have decided to pursue an MBA degree. As you are aware, today’s job market is highly competitive and it is important to upgrade our skills. So, I feel this is the right time to learn something that will help me sharpen my skills further.
Actually, I am satisfied with working in this company, and I have learned a multitude of business skills such as organising seminars, drafting reports, and handling customer. Also, the various pieces of advice provided by you were helpful in order to achieve professional as well as persona success. Particularly, how to maintain a work-life balance. You are not just my boss, but also my mentor and an excellent philosopher, and I look up to you. If not for education advancement, I would have never left this company. I am having mixed feelings and leaving with a heavy heart.
I want to request for a reference letter. Since i have to finish my application for enrollement, they need letter of reference from my work.
