Dear Ms Choudhary,
I am Arjun your next door neighbour and I am writing this letter in regard to the problems we have been facing owing to the recent construction that has started in your flat.
Going into the specifics, since the refurbishing of your house started around 15 days ago it has become increasingly difficult for us to cope with the noise and dust that all the construction creates. Also, the workers don’t follow proper timings and work till late in the night. My wife is studying for her Masters and unfortunately her study shares a wall with one of your rooms and the noise makes it impossible for her to concentrate. The workers have not covered the windows with plastic sheets as the law requires them to and the dust blows into our house throughout the day.
I urge you to look into this matter immediately. I recommend that you have a stern word with your contractor about following the housing society construction rules. If you fail to do so, I will be compelled to file a complaint with the local police station.
