Your neighbors have a dog that is noisy at night. You can’t sleep. Write a letter to your neighbors. In your letter:
– describe the problem with the dog
– explain why it is important for you to sleep
– outline what your neighbors could do about the situation.
Dear Donald,
I am Sony, your next-door neighbor, writing to express my concern about the noise made by your dog at night. I intended to write few days back but, waited patiently with the hope that the dog stops barking at night. Then it would save me to send this as a complaint letter. I am hoping that this would resolve my issue.
For more than a week your dog is yelping loud at nights and I have no idea why! Just when I send my daughter to bed, then I am lying on bed we hear barking sounds very loud. As my girl is a school-goer, I need to make her sleep soon. Moreover, I have to wake-up before 6 am to cook food for my family and send my daughter to school. Further, to this as a working woman due to lack of enough sleep leaves me dizzy and affects my performance in office.
You are great neighbors in every aspect and I feel that you will understand my stress regarding this. I do not own a pet so, I have no idea and I cannot recommend you on this. Perhaps, it is better taking your dog to a specialist which enacts as a good solution.
Thanking You.
Yours Sincerely,
Sony.
