Dear Sir/Madman
I am writing this letter in connection to your recent unanimous decision on the destruction of the oldest historical building, The Patala Palace. The decision was extremely disappointing, and I would like to request you to revise the decision as the palace has been contributing enormously to the local economy.
The palace has been the main source of attraction for national as well as international tourist, thereby it has been offering a lot of jobs for the local people. Most of them are street vendors who have been selling the small structure of building as souvenirs to the visitors; meanwhile, the local council has also been generating revenue from the entry fees since 1950. With it closure, therefore, many people will lose their livelihood, likewise there will be also reduction in total revenue of the council.
As the council has become unable to fund the budget for its maintenance and functioning, in my opinion, the federal government should allocate enough budget to run it properly. This building is significant not only to the inhabitants of this reason but to the whole population of this country. Therefore, the council should urge the central government to play an important role in its protection.
