Some people believe that nowadays we have many choices.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
In the contemporary world, accompanied by the proliferation of technology, there has been a development in economy and society, leading to the opinion has been divided on whether or not people have a wide variety of options. From my perspective, I completely agree that the choices are increasingly becoming abundant in every aspect of life.
First of all, people are likely to have several options in the curriculum as well as educational institutions today. For example, in many industrialized nations, cutting-edge technology opens various teaching methods for students, from watching vivid online videos and images to attending virtual classes; hence bringing parents selections on their kid’s studying environment. Furthermore, there have been many extra classes about soft skills as well as in-depth knowledge to meet the demanding requirement from the labor market. As a result, the more proficiency learners have, the more job opportunities they gain.
Additionally, it is irrefutable that the higher living standard nowadays results in a great number of recreational activities, allowing people to enjoy after a hard working time. Recently, the entertainment industry attracts a huge number of participants as the increasing demand for relaxation and broadening their horizons. A good illustration is that when the young have leisure time, they may have many options to take into consideration such as going to the cinemas, playing sports or traveling.
In conclusion, for the aforementioned reasons, I am convinced that the high demand in educational, occupational and entertainment fields may lead to various options for people to choose. It is important for an individual to make rational decisions and weight on the pros and cons before coming to conclusions, hence preventing them from unexpected consequences.
