Distance learning and online classroom classes replace classroom learning

I agree with the statement that classroom learning should be replaced by distance learning programs and classroom learning sessions. In my view, the modern learning techniques like distance learning and online classroom not only cover all the beneficial points of the conventional classroom learning but also provide flexibility in terms of time, place and material.

Firstly, distance learning programs are once recorded and then can be played as many times as needed and thus would save the time of the professor or teacher and in turn this time can be utilized for personal guidance of each student. Moreover, in current time professor in University also dedicates time in research topics and innovations. So this would give the professor much time needed for research work and can also collaborate with well-known institutions for research activities. Also due to increase in internet facility, the same online course can be used by many students world wide. For example, there are websites like edx, course era, udacity which provide courses on rare and interesting subjects like Python, big data, data mining and many other and thus in some time a huge workforce can be created for such rare subjects.

Second, online classroom sessions give the flexibility of place. So one can study at the place where he/she would love to do it. And sometimes students leave in far away places and getting together in one place is not always possible. Thus, this can provide the students and professor the option to select the place and as this session are online they are recorded, and so students can use this lectures any time they want.

Third, there would be a cost reduction in terms of infrastructure. If there are online sessions then there is no need of a physical class room and also no maintenance. The lab and research work can be accomplished once in some time by renting a lab or place. For example, the professor or university can provide the time and place of for the laboratory sessions. And if this isn't possible, still there would only be costly for such lab sessions once in a while.

In all, the concept or idea of learning through online classroom sessions and distance learning program would be favorable for students in terms of place, professors in terms of time, and the university in terms of cost.
