TPO 34 - Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Educating children is a more difficult task today than it was in the past because they spend so much time on cell phone, online games, and social networking Website. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Some people argue that students spend too much time on virtual world thus making the transference of knowledge to them a more challenging work. In my opinion, I completely disagree with this idea and attribute the cause to two other reasons which will be explored in the following essay.
On the one hand, spending too much time on the internet, cell phones or other smart devices are thought to not only cut students´s studying time but also be detrimental to their mental welfare. On the other hand, I put forth the idea that those activities help to boost children´s critical thinking which is a hurdle for adults to facilitate the education process. While learners in the past completely lean on their teachers for knowledge, the modern peers gain understanding and knowledge from various sources online. Therefore, they are able to compare the accuracy of knowledge as well as give comments to their teachers should the information provided at school not completely true. This fact consequently requires teachers to be more competent than they were before. My own experience is a compelling example of this idea. When I was an elementary pupil twenty years ago, I completely follow and accept the accuracy of knowledge that my teachers instructed me. However, my eight-year-old son usually argues with me on various academic subjects, using information acquired on the internet.
Secondly, adults feel more difficult to teach their kids because of the highly demanding academic activities. It is clear that more and more knowledge has been incorporated into the modern curriculum. As the result, both school lecturers and parents encounter difficulty in educating their infants. For example, primary pupils now have to learn diverse subjects at school ranging from social science, natural science, STEM and information technolog to name but a few. Besides, they are also obliged to learn one or two foreign languages. Therefore, it is much harder for teachers and learners to keep pace with current academic requirements.
In conclusion, I give my vote to the fact that it is a more difficult task for teachers and parents to teach their students and children. The main reasons are that our kids know more than we used to and that studying is more and more challenging,

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
