TPO-11 - Integrated Writing Task
Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they cast doubt on specific points made reading passage.

In the set of material, both the Reading passage and lecture have opositive reasons to support there opinions about literature, in general. There are three reasons with opositive point both author and lecturer.

First of all, the Reading passage affirms that Young people are Reading far less literature, novels, plays, and poems, than they used to. This is troubling in us opinion because the trend has unfortunate effects for the Reading public, for culture in general. Even though, the lecture pourpose that the literature nowdays has much quality and creative, as well as the literature is estimulate the imagination of young people. Besides, the lecturer says that intelectual literature is much present nowdays, like science’s books, history’s books, another things.

In the second place, the author claims that consider the prevalence of self-help books on list os best sellers. These are usually superficial poorly written, and intelectually undemanding. However, the lecturer refutes this point saying that the counts of books change. They are much avaible and cultural, with intelectual historys.

Thrid and last, the Reading passage pourpose that the trend of Reading less literature is all the more regrettable because it is taking place during a period when good literature is beging written. There are many talented writers today, but theylack na audience. The lecturer explain this point saying that standards have dificulte on understand the “good literature”, so they have less audience.
