When computers first appeared on the scene, it was thought they would make us more productive in providing goods and services, smarter and possibly happier. Skeptics claim that the opposite is true as computers have proved disappointing in terms of productivity, and have made us less happy and more stupid because information is not knowledge.
Which of these points of view do you agree with most? Support your argument with reasons and your examples from your own experience and observations.

Computers have become an integrated part of our life, even at work or in our daily life. I completely agree with the opinion that the computers and its applications have provided us with a better chance of getting an education and at higher quality, and have made us more productivity at work.

It is true that computers have made education nowadays available at lower cost and yet higher availability and quality than it used to be in the past. Online courses, online libraries with all sources of e-book and academic magazines, and an array of education applications are all available now thanks to the use of computers and computer networks. People can learn and enhance their knowledge literally from anywhere and at any time. This is extremely important for the people living in remote areas, particularly in poor countries, where access to the traditional education is impossible.

It is also cannot be denied that our works have become more productivity because of the helps from computers and their applications in the modern workplaces. Mass production chains controlled by computers enable factories to produce a large number of various products with very little help/ interference from human. Furthermore, works in dangerous environments where human being cannot survive, such as under deep sea or in high-temperature conditions or in space where no air to breath, are possible now by using robots, which are control by computers.

In conclusion, I believe that computers and its various use cases have improved our lives by helping us work more effectively and by providing us with a better chance of receiving an education.
